Steve McGrath is a versatile actor in both comedy and drama. Of the 93 commercials he has acted in over the past 34 years, being cast and directed by Taika Waititi was one of the highlights. He is also a playwright, screenwriter and maker of short films. He was the winner of not only the Best Film Award but also Best Actor (he cast himself as the lead role) in his short film "The LSD MAN" in the SF3 Smartfone Flick Fest 2015. He was awarded Best Fringe Comedy 2015 by Sydney Arts Guide 2015 for his full length play "Leaves". As a freelance comedy writer he was a contributing writer for television shows such as Comedy Inc and The Comedy Company. Prior to that he was a contributing writer for the Doug Mulray Breakfast Show on radio. He is currently developing various screenplays and television concepts as well as continuing to be available for comedy or drama film or TV roles.
