Reuben grew up in Perth, WA, and completed a Bachelor of Performance (Stage and Screen) at Actors Centre Australia in 2023. Reuben also has a BA in English Literature and Philosophy from Sydney University behind him, and lived in Central Australia for several years working in Youth Work and Community Development.
At ACA Reuben played Jorgen Tesman in Hedda Gabler, Michael in The Business, Antonio in Twelfth Night, Glenn in The Boys, Juror 9 in 12 Angry Men, and Charles Sackville/Harry Harris in The Libertine.
During his time at at Actors Centre Australia Reuben founded the ACA Writers Group, a place for ACA students to develop and hone their writing practice. Reuben was also co-directed and performed in two Writers Group showcase performances: No Feedback Please in 2022 and Paper Cuts in 2023.
In 2024 Reuben had his professional stage debut at The New Theatre as The Writer in Homos, or Everyone in America. He went on to star in two more productions at the New in 2025, playing Mike Endicott in The Front Page and Charlie in Hangmen.
Reuben is also a professional MC and host, MCing stages at the Marrickville Music Festival and the 2044 street takeover in 2024.
