REVIEWS: “Pastor does an amazing job at portraying the main character in her first lead role [Freelance],making Katie’s thoroughly abrasive mannerisms highly watchable as well as getting across the mounting psychological distress of the work and its effect on her life. Freelance is anchored by a truly outstanding lead performance from Nicole Pastor”. - FilmInk 2024 “Pastor certainly reveals her strong acting skills in this feature [Freelance], depicting a young woman whose mental state is gradually collapsing, becoming miserable and antisocial. Her performance is one of the main strengths of the film and Pastor constantly succeeds in being dramatic. Pastor's performance is superb”. - UK Film Review 2024 “Burgeoning actress Nicole Pastor delivers a commanding performance that demands much in the way of physical and emotional vulnerability”. - Matts Movie Reviews 2024 "Pastor makes the character [Katie] determined but vulnerable and frustrated. Pastor sells the intensity very well. The ending is a masterstroke of storytelling, leaving the audience satisfied and intrigued". - Film Threat 2024 Nicole Pastor's performance [The Farmhouse], devoid of any spoken words, is nothing short of mesmerising, conveying volumes through her expressions and the subtlety of her body language. Her ability to communicate fear, desperation, and resilience, without uttering a single syllable, elevates the film's emotional core. - FilmNet "Nicole Pastor is tasked with carrying the film [The Farmhouse] – and her performance as Kylie is vulnerable, enticing and engaging. Kylie feels truly alone – and Pastor’s ability to capture her fear and helplessness make the unfurling events that much more terrifying. Admittedly, the role is reminiscent of many a ‘final girl’ before her, but Pastor more than lives up to her task, and viewers will be eager to learn of both Kylie’s history, and her fate. The abilities of star Nicole Pastor are on display". - UK Film Review
