Notes

Jack is set to play in The Malthouse Theatre's highly anticipated immersive theatre experience 'Hour of The Wolf' as Gareth. Jack is best known from Simon Phillips' 'As You Like It' at Melbourne Theatre Company with music by Kate Miller-Heidke and Keir Nuttall, where he was music captain, the cast's principal guitarist, and commanded text in a range of ensemble roles. demonstrating his versatility in the highest calibre of professional theatre productions. His distinct tenor voice (A2-F#5), honed multi-instrumentalism (guitar, piano, mandolin, ukulele, strum-stick, tin whistle), and passion for musicality make him a desirable candidate for musically-dependant roles in both stage and screen work. Jack has great passion and expertise in staging classic children's tales, first playing his namesake in Jack & The Beanstalk when he was 15 at the Doncaster Playhouse, and since then everything from puppets, to Robin Hood. Jack has devised and staged his own renditions of Rumpelstiltskin and Puss in Boots, with an original script and music. Recently featuring as 'Billy' in Chutney's 'Australia's Last Conversion Camp', the awkward 'Brinsley Belden' (Neighbours), and as 'Dangerous Kid' in Aussie feature film 'EMO: The Musical', Jack showcases his chops as a performer with comedic sensibilities, and no fear of the awkward or tense energies of the screen. His participation in Mars Bar ad 'Life Drawing' and Gami's 'Just add Beer' prove Jack's joy for bringing life and humour to the sets of professional and intensive commercial shoots.
