Briar Rose is an Actor, Producer, and Director, born in New Zealand of Maori descent. She attended renowned The American Academy of Dramatic Arts - Los Angeles, where she studied techniques including Stanislavski, Meisner, Hagen, Chekhov, Adler, Strasberg, and Spolin and is involved full-time in workshops, seminars and classes in order to continuly develop her craft. After excelling in her two-year conservatory training in the US she relocated to be based both in Auckland and Melbourne to successfully build her International platform and is represented in both Australia and New Zealand by The Robert Bruce Agency. She takes pride in her physical capabilities that range across Martial Arts to Cross-Fit to Motorcycling. Briar has directed various creative projects in Melbourne and is currently Directing a Sci-fi Web-Series (6X 30min Episodes) with Melbourne Production Company RESURGENCE PRODUCTIONS. Her fashion film titled 'Matrimony' successfully screened in Los Angeles and made published reviews in SUBVRT MAG, USA. Briar Rose is heavily involved as a Producer and Director and has a breadth of experience within the film industry. She is currently Producing a $20M Australian Feature Film titled BROKERS THE MOVIE, set for release in 2020. She is a residential Producer and Writer for Sydney-based production company WALLACE MEDIA GROUP as well as a residential Director and AD for Melbourne-based Honeybar Productions. She is a keen Martial Artist and Motorcycle Enthusiast and takes pride in her fitness and strength as well as her mental depth supported by a Diploma in Philosophy.
