Daniel Nieborski (he/him) is a Naarm/Melbourne-based actor, singer and videographer with Russian heritage, recently completing his training at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting). Daniel’s credits include Eddie Birdlace in ‘Dogfight’ (dir. Pip Mushin) at Chapel off Chapel. He was awarded Best Supporting Actor by the Music Theatre Guild of Victoria (MTGV) for his portrayal of Moritz in the musical production of ‘Spring Awakening’ (dir. Angela Phillips) and was nominated for his performance as Tobias Ragg in ‘Sweeney Todd’ (dir. Kim Edwards). Daniel’s credits at the VCA include Alexander Litvinenko in ‘A Very Expensive Poison’ (dir. Katy Maudlin), Trofimov in ‘The Cherry Orchard’ (dir. Bagryana Popov), David Cooper in the Australian premiere of ‘THE BANK’ (dir. Daniela Farinacci), and C in ‘Image of an Unknown Young Woman’ (dir. Alice Qin). Daniel was a part of the devised production ‘Forgiveness’ (dir. Penelope Bartlau) with Barking Spider Theatre, which toured to China under special invitation by the Wuzhen Arts Festival in 2019. With a Master of Communication and Media from Monash University, Daniel has established his own videography business, filming and editing promotional videos for professional Disney shows (‘Mary Poppins’, ‘Winnie The Pooh: The Musical’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’), and other professional productions, such as ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’, ‘Moulin Rouge! The Musical’, and ‘RENT’.
