Carlos Te Ikanui Morris-Matchitt (Te Aupōuri, Te Whānau-a-Apanui) is currently in Y12 at Rongotai College completing NZCEA Level 2 with a particular interest in Drama, te reo Māori & Performing Arts. He recently performed as Benjamin in the production of Joseph & the Technocolour Dreamcoat, and enjoys the physicality of Polyclub. He takes a lead role in Kapa Haka and plays Rugby, Volleyball, & Table Tennis for his kura. Carlos spends the school holidays with his whānau in Te Kao - in the Far North - fishing, riding horses and immersing himself in te ao Māori.
