Sefton is the recipient of the Contributions to Drama Award 2023 at Wellington College. He was a thrice finalist in the Wellington College Black & Gold awards for the arts for his achievements in drama and TheatreSports, both acting and directing school productions, and representing Wellington College at the National Sheila Winn Shakespeare performances in 2021 and 2023. Sefton studied Te Reo Māori throughout his years at Wellington College and is an appreciator of culture and languages. Sefton is a regular at the gym and works to keep his body in shape. He's currently enjoying surfing and getting into the outdoors.
